It might very well be a scorpion, Ludo, but if I remember correctly, I believe I used a badger & racoon combo at this occasion. Nice pictures, by the way. I had a look at them and quite frankly it made me depressed to see the sorry state our sport is in - there is what I ususally refer to as "creative fair play" everywhere! What's even more upsetting is that I'm not behind even half of it!
Here is proof of Jaakko using a voodoo doll to reach another victory...twist, snap, game over.

And who is actually Bob's partner in mixed? The Finns seem prepared to do anything to win a title.

Hey Lauren, welcome!
If you've been reading around the forums then I don't have to tell you that sippa and converse aren't the recommended freestyle gear. From my own experience, the right gear, especially shoes, is super critical to improving in freestyle.
When I play solo I practice for about an hour. I try to do that 3-4 times a week, plus one long hack session with friends where I try to set aside time for freestyle as well.
Half and hour is plenty of time for someone who's just getting started, I think it's more important to play often rather than longer. Once your trick vocabulary increases, you'll see you need more time every session, though

Hey I'm Lauren, sorta new to all of this.
Just started looking footbag up and had no idea how serious it was!
I kicked in a circle years ago, but it wasn't much. Had a sipa from awhile ago and decided to finally give the whole thing a real try.
I know their not very good since I'm interested in freestyle, and I only own some converses at the moment but I'm fine for now. I'm mainly just stretching out some and getting used to it again before I actually go out and buy anything. Not to mention I can't spare much money at the moment.
Just wondering but how much do you guys practice normally?
I did a straight half hour yesterday and about the same today.

I know for a fact that I want another shot at being his partner
Kenny is clearly the MAN as we all know, and we are only talking about his Net game. He has also invented probably 85% of that other silly footbag game.
No matter when or where you play against him, it's finals.
thx
