Update 1: Following the premiere at the World Championships and a few private screenings, BOTS has generated a well-deserved amount of hype. This first of its kind film releases on DVD October 31. Vainikka also managed to get BOTS listed on IMDb , which maintains an extensive database on cinematic releases and television programming. Props, Jere.
Update 2: Now Released and available for purchase! The DVD features 5.1 surround sound, lots of bonus material, a Making Of documentary, and subtitles in several languages. Check out the trailer if you haven't seen it. No doubt history in the making.

BOTS is a finnish short film aimed for footbag freestyle players. It tells a story of a young cop, Mikko, who is still unsure if he made the right choice going to the police academy. Mikko gets a big case dealing with illegal betting business and soon he discovers that people are betting big money on underground footbag-battles. He has to go undercover.
Bringing out the Shred combines traditional storytelling and footbag videos in an unseen modern way. One of the main goals in this film is to capture the fast and unique movement of freestyle with a new concept of lighting, camera technigue and slow-motion. BOTS features the world-class elite of finnish footbag freestyle.
