Learn how to make the most of the Tricks section: downloading videos, adding & viewing trick tips, understanding the layout, and rss feeds explained.
Watch/Download the videos: when you click the Download link, the video should automatically start downloading to your computer. If you have any problems, you should instead download it manually by right-clicking the Download link, then choosing 'Save Target As'.
Adding Tips/Comments: comments are enabled for every album, so users can share advice for specific moves or entire families of moves. Please be careful not to post comments to the videos themselves (except in the Massive & Media sections), only to the containing album. So if you want to share your tips for Clipper stall, click the 'Add Comment' link under the *Album*, not any of the Videos inside the album.
Latest Comments: the 'View Latest Comments' link is a great way to see all the tips posted inside wherever you are looking. For example, if you want to see every single comment posted in the Tricks section, you would click the link on the main Tricks page. If you want to see all the tips posted for Advanced moves, click the link inside the Advanced album. You can use this method all the way down to individual moves. Note, the Latest Comments feature will show a maximum of 20 comments, though I may increase that number in the future.
Lists vs. Categories: the tricks are categorized for several reasons. One is for our own protection in that it deters file harvesters (footbaggers who "must see" every footbag video ever made) from just downloading video after video for no real reason. Showing all the moves in a text list, like most sites do, makes the videos all too easy to harvest. While there is some benefit to having a simple list available to browse, it would be impossible for us to offer the same extensive commenting (trick tips) features. With the current categorization, we hope you will be able to access what you want to learn fairly easily. Remember, you can always Search (using the search field in the Tricks section) for moves.
RSS Feeds: the feeds let you track new additions to the Gallery (Tricks & Media sections) from the convenience of your news aggregator. You can subscribe to specific areas within these sections, or to the entire Gallery, depending where you click the Feed link.
