Think of Flipsider as your community blog, a new source for footbag news and entertainment. To users who would like to publish news, articles and/or media on Flipsider, GO FOR IT! That's what it's here for. To those who already have a website, and would like to extend its reach to a wider audience, then you are more than welcome to take advantage of this resource. All submissions are subject to a review process to ensure the integrity of this site and relevance to the community as a whole, which is also a safeguard against spamming and self-promotion, but don't let that discourage you. Flipsider is your soapbox!
General Guidelines
All items must be of interest or use to the entire footbag community. This means significant publicity (such as TV coverage), international event announcements, engaging articles on footbag, major video releases, and anything else generally deemed newsworthy.
Items NOT allowed:
- Self-promotion and product announcements (unless absolutely vital to the community) are forbidden. Flipsider is not free advertising; it's a news service.
- Non-footbag-related material. This is a footbag website. Keep it relevant.
- Poorly written articles or half-assed work of any kind will be returned for revisions every time. Flipsider has a professional demeanor, and will uphold this standard for all published materials.
More on contributing, let's say you want to add some trick videos, or any other type of multimedia. We make it pretty simple, if it's a fairly small file (8 MB or less), you can upload it directly into the Gallery and we will move it for you to whatever area it's best suited. If your file(s) are bigger than 8 MB, then please contact us about it, and we'll let you know how to proceed. If you have an idea for a new article in the Know section, go for it and let us know when it's done. Any other ideas, you are welcome to pursue.
If you want to offer suggestions, you are of course welcome, but there is never a lack of ideas, only of people who are willing to actually do something. And so we pass you the bag...
