Re:Pre-Release - 2006/03/28 04:27 Hey Ellis,

I really like the new site, but I have found some layout problems with IE6 and Firefox as well.
For example when I'm writing this post, the 'main cell' is just - I guess - 1px to the left compared to the 'menu' for example. Or the menu is 1px to the right compared to the 'body' (firefox 1.5)
In IE6 the problem is the same but there's only one difference. The 'body' is not on the right by 1px, it's on the left.
I hope you understand my explanation

But I don't remember seeing this bug yesterday, so I guess you have changed something since then.

Another. At the submit news page, the whole body element is like 100px wider than the header. This 'bug' is in Firefox and Internet Explorer as well.

So far so good. I know it's just the pre-release, but who knows, hope this helps

Re:Pre-Release - 2006/03/28 14:26 Thanks for the reply, Lurko. Yes, I'm having problems conforming the template to IE "standards". The alignment issue you pointed out was one (failed) attempt to resolve it. I changed it back to how it was. I think still you will find that the bottom menu is off-center in IE; can't figure that one out... Hey Microsoft, what part of align="center" don't you understand?!

The Submit page has been fixed. Thanks for pointing it out.

It may be pre-release, but public launch is only 3 days away!

Re:Pre-Release - 2006/03/29 06:59 Yes, It sucks that IE does NOT follow the standards, but most of users use this *awesome* browser anyway.
I think it can be solved by using CSS and IE hacks. You can find everywhere how to use the width, padding, margin etc. properties to hack internet explorer.

For the bottom menu try to use <center> and </center> tags. It may solve this annoying problem

Re:Pre-Release - 2006/04/01 00:32 Thanks, Anssi.

Alpine Symp Bullwhip in the Massive section sounds... well, Do you already have it on video? Hit by YOU??

You can upload any videos you want to contribute by going to the control panel and clicking 'Upload Media' in the menu under 'Contribute'. That will bring you to Your Album in the Members Area. Then just Add Items. When it's ready, send me a quick email and I'll move it to the appropriate place. Any questions, just ask.

Thanks!
